About Ad Astra Recovery Center

Changing the Face of Recovery

Ad Astra Recovery Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was born out of a deeply personal mission to redefine how we approach healing and recovery. Founded by someone who has walked the exact same path as the individuals we plan to serve, Ad Astra isn't just an organization, it’s a lifeline built on true empathy, lived experience, and an understanding of what it really takes to rebuild a life.

We believe that sustainable recovery requires more than traditional methods. Our goal is to shift the narrative surrounding rehabilitation by treating the whole person. By implementing innovative, holistic therapies that focus on healing both the mind and the body, we are creating a space where individuals can truly transform from the inside out.

Meeting an Urgent Crisis

It is no secret that Enid and the surrounding northwest Oklahoma region are facing a quiet but devastating crisis when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction. Families are being torn apart, and the impact is growing every day.

Yet, despite the rising need, our community faces a massive gap in care: there are no dedicated residential rehabilitation facilities for women in the immediate Enid area.

Right now, when a woman in our community makes the brave decision to seek intensive help, she is often forced to leave her support system, her children, and her home behind just to travel hours away for a bed, or worse, she is left waiting with nowhere to go.

A New Vision: Healing Mind and Body

We are out to change that. Ad Astra is stepping in to fill this gap by establishing a rehabilitation space that fundamentally shifts how we view recovery.

We believe that sustainable, long-term healing requires more than just traditional methods. True recovery is personal, realistic, and must treat the whole person. We are implementing a model grounded in:

  • Holistic Wellness: Integrating innovative therapies that heal both the mind and the body, rather than just treating symptoms.

  • Realistic Recovery Methods: Providing practical life skills, peer support, and tools tailored to the modern challenges women face.

  • A Safe Haven Close to Home: Keeping women connected to community support where long-term roots of sobriety can actually grow.

We Need Our Community to Open the Doors

Right now, Ad Astra is in its crucial foundational stages. We have the state filings ready, the passion, and the framework to change lives, but we cannot do it alone.

To turn this vision into reality, secure our physical location, and bring these vital new types of therapy to Enid, we need the help of the community. We are currently in the stages of raising start-up donations and seeking community partnerships.

Every dollar donated is a direct investment in saving a life, healing a family, and strengthening Enid.

Join us in bringing hope closer to home. Together, we can reach the stars.
